FAQ'S

How is Homeopathic method of treatment different from the Allopathic method?

The Allopathic method works on the principle of abating the symptoms of the disease, whether by palliation or suppression. Here, each symptom is considered individually and medicines are prescribed from each.

The Homeopathic method has a "holistic approach" to treatment. Here, the medical treatment is applied with the purpose of removing the root cause of the disease and hence, has a highly individualistic approach to treating people.

How do Homeopathic remedies work?

Homeopathic remedies work by arousing the body's own defences, the immune system to fight against the diseases that are affecting the human being, and serve to eradicate the root cause of the disease.

Are Homeopathic medicines slow to act?

This is a misconception. Homeopathic remedies begin their action as soon as they are administered. However, the time taken for the patient to get better depends on the type of disease- acute or chronic. In a Acute case (suddenly occurring ailments like fever, loose stools or occasional headaches), the effect is seen within few minutes to hours of administration of medicine.

However, in chronic ailments like Migraine, High Blood Pressure, Arthritis, etc., where the symptoms have lasted for many years, the remedies take a longer time than in Acute diseases since the root causes as well as pathologies need to be eradicated and/or reversed. Yet, the time taken for relief and cure is much less than the duration of suffering.

Do homeopathic medicines work in Acute conditions?

Yes. Homeopathic remedies show their positive effects within minutes to hours of consuming them in many types of acute complaints like fever, cold, indigestion, acute bronchitis, etc.
